Supported Independent Living (SIL) is NDIS funded support for people who need help with daily living in a shared or individual living arrangement. This can include support with cooking, personal care, medication, and community participation, typically in a home with 24/7 or overnight staff available.
Carefully. We look at your goals, personality, cultural preferences, communication needs and the type of support required, so you feel safe, respected and genuinely comfortable with the person walking through your door.
We offer both in-home care and support in our own managed care homes. You can receive services from My Carers in your own home, or choose to live in one of our homes, depending on your needs and preferences.
That’s no problem. We regularly support participants who live independently, with family, or in other arrangements. We’ll work with you to match a carer who suits your situation and provide care in your own environment.
Yes. We understand how important it is to feel comfortable and confident in your living arrangement. We welcome potential participants and their families to visit our homes, meet the team, and see if it’s the right fit.
We support participants with self-managed, plan-managed and agency-managed NDIS funding.
We support people across Southwest Sydney, and we operate homes in Liverpool, East Hills and Fairfield West. Our office is in Burwood, and our team comes to you.
Simply get in touch with us. Our Participant Support team will guide you through the onboarding process whether you already have an NDIS plan or are still learning how it all works.
